Carolina Ruiz Challenge

#FeelTheSpeed

"Carolina Ruiz Challenge" is a national race that aims to offer multipurpose to runners through the Super Combi discipline. Furthermore, as a result of Carolina's professional career, this competition also seeks to promote and publicize speed in alpine skiing adapted for the U8, U10 and U12 categories.

The race

Carolina Ruiz Challenge is within the calendar of the Royal Spanish Winter Sports Federation, and therefore, it has a national character and its participation is open to all clubs in Spain.
We are betting on a two-day format imitating the training carried out in the downhills of the World Cup. In this way, we offer athletes the opportunity to gain confidence the day before the race with several training runs, thus simulating a situation identical to the one they will encounter.
It is intended for athletes in the U8, U10 and U12 categories.
From the Granada station of Sierra Nevada and with the help of Ruiz Ski Academy and Ski Club Granada, this race was born where the changes in slope and the irregularities of the terrain will offer a unique competition on the national scene.

Sierra Nevada provides one of the largest and most attractive ski areas in southern Europe. It has 110.4 skiable km distributed in 131 slopes with the highest skiable slope in Spain (1,200m).
If there is something that distinguishes Sierra Nevada from the rest of the peninsular resorts, it is the range of tourist options that the visitor finds at their fingertips.
The station stands out for the width of its tracks and for the daily use of routes for all levels, clean and without obstacles. In addition, Sierra Nevada bets every year on supporting the competition by hosting regional, national and international events throughout the season.
